Hi Sacky,
Looking forward to seeing you, your better half and dad in Tempe. Let me know, if I can be any assistance in planning.
The Sun Devils are drinking Erickson's kool aid by the bucket. I don't follow the Dirt Devils, but I noticed that they have three seniors on the o-line. Check out this puff piece by a Phoenix sports columnist.:wow:

Dad won't be there, but we're looking forward to the trip. Frankly, I don't care about what ASU is doing. I still think we're a year or two away from where we want to be.

This will be my first away game since the infamous beating I took in Miami. I hope the fans in Phoenix can control themselves. I am looking forward to tailgating and meeting some new faces. Miss Sackman does pretty well with the games and with the tailgating scene.

Just make sure Mr. Mrs. Sackman goes down the stairs before you and you should be fine... :smile2:

I know this is a little off topic but I got the OK for the Florida State Game in Boulder. I was going to do 2 games this year, one being ASU and then 1 in Boulder but found out the wife is pregnant with our 1st and due in November so I sacrificed and settled on the FSU game in September! Already counting the days!!! (until the game that is, lol)

So if the wife is already pregnant, isn't your job done? What's the issue with making two games???

LOL, I like your thinking, however I don't think she will agree. Was going to do the ebraska game, which will be only a couple weeks after the due date, can't leave then.

i am booked at both the doubletree (alumni assoc. hotel) and the tempe mission palms (http://www.missionpalms.com/) as it is within walking distance of the stadium, doubletree is a small drive. i will make a decision of which one closer to the game.

I thought this also when Truly Superior was pregnant with our first. When sitting at the breast feeding class the instructor asked if the fathers to be knew why we were required to attend, I replied "so the little tyke can come over and floss after eating?" The bitch almost threw her birkenstock at me.:smile2: Needless to say, Truly Superior wasn't too happy with me either.

I'm booked at the Mission Palms myself. If there is one thing I know ab out away game trips, its that being able to walk to the hotel is HUGE.

No worries Sack Family. The Sun Devil crowd is usually tame in comparision to the "big time" football schools. Should be a very quiet and HOT night in Tempe.
