i'm not happy about this at all.....but, wait and see i guess: the word "revolutionary" is like a bomb in the last sentence....scary.

What: Unveiling of New Colorado Football Uniforms
When: Saturday, June 2, 2007
Where: Folsom Field, Boulder
Time: 1:30 p.m.

The University of Colorado will have a brief presentation, featuring
head coach Dan Hawkins and several past and current players, at 1:30
p.m. Saturday in Folsom Field to introduce and unveil the Buffaloes
new football uniforms for the 2007 season. KOA-Radio’s Mark Johnson
will emcee the event.

The new uniforms are a revolutionary new design by NIKE, made
exclusively for the Buffaloes.

oh yay...Nike, the great designers of those ugly ass Lebrons (for being such a superstar, he deserves a better looking shoe) and those wonderful Oregon outfits. Nike makes some cool stuff too, but man, I'm wary of what they might give us.

And what's so bad about our uniforms now? They're classic? Why change?

that's what i say. our threads are great (minus the all whites roadie). there are many ways we can improve the football program.....but changing the unis isn't where i'd start.

Don't screw us Hawk/Nike!

I'd like it if they went back to the Big 8 uniforms of the late 1980's and early 1990's. With the plain COLORADO across the front and the stripes on the sleeves.

Should be interesting to see!

Color me nervous. After seeing the abortion that Oregon's unis are now, I won't be comfortable until I see them. Did anybody see those basketball uni's Nike proposed a while back? I can't remember all the teams but they were hideous. I will be upset if the new uni's make the Buffs look like a bunch of Liberace clones.

This scares the **** out of me. I pray that there is no diamond plate water marks or God forbid they touch the logo.

I agree 100%. Unfortunately, going back to a classic look is about the last thing Nike is likely to do. :sad1:

Nike provides CU with all their equipment for all their sports -- in return, CU has to make occasional marketing consessions. I think CU gets the better end of the trade. Besides- a new jersey means new jersey sales = more money for CU.

Please no ****ing sparkles, sequins, tassels, epaulets, diamonds, pearls, or other “artwork” that those nike clowns have thrust upon us with the Oregon unis.

As long as they keep it simple, it shouldn’t turn out too bad. Although, there is a fine line between the classic look of Penn State and the horrendously retarded appearance of a helmet with just a ****ing N on it. What is that font anyway, Helvetica?

Well, this is where fans and boosters get a vote. You don't like the look, don't buy the merchandise.

The thing that has me worried about these new uniforms is "The new uniforms are a revolutionary new design by NIKE, made exclusively for the Buffaloes." These are either going to be really good or really awful, and my thought is the latter.

yeah, i'd be much happier if phrases like "minor tinkering" or "a little of this and that" were used instead of the shitbomb "revolutionary".

I can't see any way in which this could be good. I don't think Nike has turned out a uniform in recent years that has been good. Oregon is a laughing stock, I still hate the swoosh-like design of the Broncos jerseys/pants, etc.

Please, please, please don't **** with our helmets like they did with Oregon's for their bowl game last year...

Allbuffs karma...please....

**** THIS. why **** would we do away with the classic look? If anything I would suggest bringing back the stripes on the sleeves when we dominated college football. Or the silver shadow on the COLORADO when we had slick rick, a tenure that also marked the beginning of a slow, tragic decline for our program.

Please... I pray for the CU uniforms tonight. Don't **** it up Bohnhead... pretty please.

well, if that's the look i guess it's not worst case scenario....looks like the paneling of the fabric on the actual jersey is the kind you see on some other teams that affects the overall design....and purportedly help with moisture. not thrilled with the POS nike "stripe" on the pants, though. but you had to know something like that was coming.
