I really hate these new uniforms. **** Nike. Why do they always **** things up?
Last years uni was perfect the way it was. I really hate that stripe that goes across the chest and the back.

I just noticed that the gold pants have a white stripe on them, that looks retarded with the black jerseys.
Like you said though, could have been much worse.

Im probably in the minority, but I liked the late 90's CU jerseys with the silver (home) and gold (away) line through the #'s and the sleeves...although the coach really wasnt all that good

Were they wearing both the new jerseys - and the old jerseys - at the press conference?
Some of those white jerseys don't have numbers on the sleeves, the numbers are up on top of the shoulder pads. Aren't those the old jerseys?

yes those were the old jerseys. I think they brought out scotty mcknight and joe sanders in the old jerseys.

I agree with someone earlier that the Colorado is way to small!!!! Why the hell does Nike seem to make the ugliest ****ing uniforms???

The numbers and the "Colorado" are to small in the front (numbers on the back seem okay - they're lager). I can do without the gold trim on the jersey and the paneling on the side of the pants too but I will live with it for now.
All that aside it could have been much worse. I had fears of being the laughing stock of CF with whatever horrendous new styling gimmick Nike intended to unveil on our unis but it appears they made an effort to be more subtle and not jack to much with our classic look. And as said by others before, thank God they didn't **** with the helmets.
I'm not happy Nike, but I'll let you live another day...:gun:

I just realized something else I don't like about the unis...they don't have dirt and grass stains on them. They are to ****ing clean!!! And that means it's not CFB season yet...****!!! I have a feeling once the Buffs are playing again and the unis get dirty and broken in I won't mind them as much.

i'll be perfect honest. the new unis aren't a trainwreck but i don't like them at all.
anything we've worn since about 85 is better, IMO. i don't like the gold pants on the road uni. watch this: i like the all whites better.

Maybe even Nike realizes that you shouldn't do too much messing with a great thing! They save their really stupid stuff for lesser programs like Florida, Oregon, etc....:smile2:

That is my major issue with them. It looks like it should have an * in front of it, as if it was a footnote from someplace else....

i hate the new replica jersey they are selling on cubuffs.com more than the actual new game jerseys. it isn't even close to being accurate. if they want us to buy more gear, the least they could do is make accurate replicas.
the new game jerseys could have been worse. given the trainwreck it could have been, i am relieved.

According to a woman at my office (a big Oregon State supporter), coach Belloti at Oregon has told boosters that the uniforms have helped in recruiting. I think they are a joke but if you look at the last couple of recruiting classes at Oregon, it's hard to argue with him.
I guess I'm officially old enough to not understand the fashion sense of kids these days.

Oregon's recruiting has been in spite of those uni's, not because of them. They are retarded and fugly and I refuse to believe anyone actually likes them :sad2:

Is that COLORADO on the jersey printed in a 10pt font or 12pt? Might be the right size for the woman's volleyball uniforms, but not on a 250lb gridder.
Black pants good. Gold pants - whatever. Go nuts with silver - Silver pants!
At the end of the day, I could live with Red pinstripes in exchange for a Buffs victory in a BCS game. Bt just say "no" to blue astroturf.

The back of the jersey looks weird with that bib like fashion going on.
I like the little gold piping to an extent, but it's not as nice as the clean look of solid black and solid white.
The COLORADO shoudl be MUCH bigger (or at least written in Comic Sans font)...ok, that was a joke, but it DOES need to be much bigger.
They need white pants to put with the black jerseys and for white/white combos.
The pants arent' too bad, but again it kills the clean look.

See the Colorado? Stick to that size and emphasize our state! The new colorado has almost an apologetic look to it. Heck, we're not Oklahoma or Nebraska...we have nothing to apologize about! Viva Colorado!

Ok I'll concede I was just being an ass, but some folks from CU do need to go to Lincoln and check out all their pregame rituals and that stadium club garage thing where you can drink if you pay upfront (and only if you are over 21), we could learn a lot my mimicking some of the things that other schools do.
