But I really like the new uni's. I especially like the all black look. Like I said, I think these uni's give the players a "tougher" look to them. I think people will like them more once we start pounding little sheep and fuskers down the field coming this fall.

I think most of the really negative (mine included) responses were from that replica picture we got first. Once we saw some shots of the actual jerseys most people were like, "Meh. Not as bad as I feared."

My main complaints are that the Colorado is way too small, and the black on black with yellow text on the Colorado looks too much like Missouri's unis. Also, I think they've gone too far towards yellow with the text and pants. I know we wear yellow shirts in the crowd because the gold doesn't show up as well. But, I have always liked the gold on our unis and I think we are too far towards yellow now.

But, they aren't terrible and once we get used to them they'll grow on us, I think.

I think they're fine. Like Wispy said they do look a little like Mizzou's uni's, but we've always looked pretty similar anyway. Bottom line for me: If the players like them, then that is all that matters to me.

Now I do agree about the yellow. I would like to see more of the traditional gold that you saw in the late 80's early 90's.

That replica jersey is butt ****ing ugly....that said I do like these new unis. Most importantly, no change to the best helmet in college football.

(This new news about the Unis makes that CU gear sale make perfect sense. All that stuff they had no use for, so might as well make some dough. I got a B. Daniels jersey (which will be made into another Southward jersey and a pair of the gold game day pants.)

my feeling is that i liked the old ones better, and the accomodation to the new ones feels like learning to "love" 2.75 a gallon gas. not as bad as it could be given a limited set of options. most of which (3.20 a gallon/Oregon State) are unthinkable and soul killing.

Please tell me more about where I can find $2.75 per gallon gas

Nowhere, but wouldn't you love it if you could? 10 years ago you'd have coughed up blood at the thought of paying $2.75/Gal.

i don't mind the jersey's at all....its the fashion forward silver squares and funky stripes on the pants that i don't like. i dig the silver #s and the gold "colorado" and "names"....but like everyone else, i think the "colorado" should be bigger.

I just wish they would have stayed with the old ones.

However, unis are the least of our concerns at this point.

Let's win some games first.
