Major bump but not even close....great kid though played baseball with him, too bad he went to Ponderosa.
Got a question though, how big do you need to be to be a DE in the MWC usually? I ask this because my mom was talking to his mom and she said they needed him to get bigger.

Really hard to say how big a DE needs to be. Depends on the defensive scheme and what the responsibilities are. Could be anywhere from 230-285 lbs.

Simple truism, I've never known a coach who didn't want bigger players. No matter how big a guy is they virtually always want bigger, stronger. The only exception to this is when bigger means that a guy gets fat and loses mobility. In a coaches mind a big, fast guy is better than a small, fast guy every time.
