FWIW, he's just a soft verbal. In June, Hampton was saying he wants to take some official visits this fall.

Per Rivals: "I still like Stanford a lot and I'm still committed, but I'm thinking about taking some official visits to see which is the right school for me," Hampton said.

As we've discussed, Stanford's class is starting to fall apart a little bit.

Hampton de-committed today and said it's between Notre Dame and Northwestern.

Yesterday Stanford lost CB Will Yates out of Maryland. Yates lists his new Top 5 as: Maryland, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Virginia and UConn.

We might want to keep an eye on the following Stanford verbals that CU was also after:

CA RB Anthony Wilkerson
CO OT Dillon Bonnell
CO ATH Kain Colter
CA LB Jordan Zumwalt
NV LB Eval Palelei
