It really does beg the question of why we haven't filled an assistant coach position. To have that empty during the summer recruiting / AAU season is unbelievable.

Of course. But they lost their best recruiter, didn't replace him, and ended up with one less guy on the road, making phone calls and sending emails than they could have had. Doesn't make much sense to me, especially when you're trying to compete in the Big 12.
