I realize that Paul Chryst is a Wisconsin alum - but holy cow!

He also has Pac12 ties (was offensive coordinator at Oregon State for a few years) and west coast ties (was an assistant coach for the San Diego Chargers for a few years).

Interesting choice. I think he is worth a look for sure and he might not get a chance to be HC at Wisconsin for a while, considering Bret Bielema is only 40.

Bielema was their DC before getting the HC job, I'm sure he's very closely tied in with what their DC does. I also really like the idea of Chryst, that offense is pretty good and I don't think Wisconsin recruits all that well. It may be "boring" but it gets the job done.

from what I hear, he calls the plays and does the game-planning, not Bielema.

I wasn't sold on him initially, and then I saw his image burnt into a grilled cheese sandwich. And then a cheeto!

I'm a believer in Chryst for HC.
