Editor's note: Today's feature on CU freshman Xavier Talton is the second of six on each of the new Buffs men's basketball players joining the team this summer.
I will be cheering hard for this kid since we don't see many kids from Colorado's eastern plains making an impact in basketball or football that much and with the shrinking population of that region, there won't be much class 4A basketball teams in that region. Given that Sterling will drop down to 2A in football leads me to believe that they will drop down to 3A for other sports which would leave Ft. Morgan as the lone eastern plains school that is still 4A in all sports except football.

good post Nash. the state has such weird, changing demographics. always pull for a CO kid who comes to CU.
