Women’s Golf Sits In 13th After First Day of Northrop Grumann

    PALOS VERDES, Calif. - The University of Colorado women's golf team got its spring season underway here at the Northrop Grumann Regional Challenge by firing a 27-over par 311 to sit in 13th place with 18 of the 54 holes now complete on the 5,912 yard, par-71 course here at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.

    Sophomore Taylor Doyle led the way for the Buffaloes, firing a 3-over par 74 and currently sits tied for 21st individually. She had a pair of birdies and five bogies to go along with 11 birdies. With the back-nine being played first, she was the only Buff who didn't struggle the first half of their respective rounds.
