Kansas takes control of game with 25-4 run leading up to halftime

The Colorado women's basketball team's slide continued on Tuesday night.
That the Buffaloes walked off the floor feeling as though they'd let a golden chance for a victory slip away might end up stinging worse than some of their previous losses as they scramble to stay eligible for some sort of postseason berth.
Kansas -- a team dealing with the loss of two starters to season-ending knee injuries -- weathered an early run by the Buffs and then held on late for a 79-72 victory in front of 2,147 at the Coors Events Center.
