    Colorado women's basketball coach Linda Lappe confirmed Friday that she interviewed WNBA and Texas Tech legend Sheryl Swoopes this week for one of the two assistant coaching vacancies on her staff.

    Lappe has interviewed several candidates in recent weeks, and expects to announce hires for at least one of the open positions next week.
