Assistant Coach/Wide Receivers

Bobby Kennedy, although not a former Buffalo or sporting former Buff ties, is not without his own connections to the state of Colorado and the town of Boulder. Coach Kennedy is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, a Boulder native, and a graduate of Boulder High School. He brings an impressive resume to The University of Colorado's football program consisting of over 20 years in the coaching profession and five years as UT's co-recruiting coordinator. A common theme among our new coaching staff is recruiting prowess and Coach Kennedy continues that theme.

Family Life:
As noted above Bobby will be returning home to Boulder where he grew up and started his coaching career. He'll be accompanied on his return by his wife of 12 years LaShonda.

Coaching Career
Bobby started out with Boulder high as a coach in 1989 just in time to look up the hill and watch the glory years of CU Football. From there Coach Kennedy moved quickly into the college ranks, coaching first with Illinois during the 1990-1991 season, and then rapidly moving through Penn State, Wyoming, Wake Forest, Washington, and Arizona before landing at UT in 2004. After just one year at UT, Coach Kennedy was promoted from receivers coach to Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in 2005. Coach Kennedy had great success with the Texas receiving corps during his time at UT, producing such UT greats as Jordan Shipley, Quan Cosby, and Limas Sweed. At UW, Coach Kennedy coached All-American and all-time leading UW receiver Reggie Williams.
