They look pathetic. Just bend over, guys, and let it happen. Get on the bus. Come back to Boulder. That's obviously what you've been wanting to do since you stepped foot in the Rose Bowl. No heart. No desire. Pathetic.

I'm glad I saw it coming and didn't drive 6 hours down there for another disappointment.

Seriously, if this is the type of effort they are going to put out on the road, we need to just forfeit all of our away games and save the travel costs. Really pathetic.

Ya....beginning to wonder whether we will ever dig ourselves out. Horrible effort.

it's a lack of confidence. you can see it on their faces, especially on defense. they don't expect to win.

can we play a fcs team on the road... like at greeley... i think we can probably win that one...

Body language was very telling. Before we finished the first quarter you could tell we had no chance....Both sides of the ball had 0 confidence.

Why is it different on the road?

The extra-point play summed up how far we've grown this season, how we're taking those giant leaps to that next level. No other single play seemed more telling.

So many threads in which to post. This one seems appropriate.

EB's offensive game plan and lack of adjustment, mostly the latter, was horrible.

JE's clock management, or lack thereof, at the end of the first half was ridiculous.

Tyler Hansen, God bless him, was awful.

Do you think Tyler's skills deteriorated or was his psyche harmed (or perhaps "unfortified") by his first years here? I can't decide. "Going thru the motions" and "Knows he's the only choice" occurs to me when I see him, uh, play. I'll use that term - can't always decide on a more appropriate one because some are completely negative.

My kid goes to CU. They see a lot of players at various parties. My kid was saying, last night, that a lot of guys on the team party way too much and are just living the BMOC life. On Hansen, my son and his friends say he is very "soft" and not in good shape. In other words, he doesn't look like he works very hard.

Thanks, that's my personal observation but I still wonder where this started. "I give up and I'm going to enjoy my life here as best I can" is one possible answer. I'm not sure how JE will approach 'camp' next year, whether a threat to next year's seniors will be to let them lead the cushy life they've grown so accustomed to, or drive them out, or make them live one season of toughness, in hopes of impressing incoming recruits. At some point, old weeds are chopped so new growth starts clean, or life at the bottom is championed for another four seasons.

All this talk about changing the attitude is starting to annoy me. You change the attitude by winning, pure and simple. You don't change the attitude first, then try to win. That's what Hawk tried, and he failed miserably. Instead of trying to change the mentality of the players, I think JE needs to start worrying about winning games.

I agreed with your whole post, but especially on this one. No idea what the **** was going on there, but he looked lost.

I'll tell you what was going on there - we couldn't score to save our lives and JE knew it. He was trying to help the game end a little sooner.
