Stealing this shamelessly from the Rivals board.

Buff fans can join other fans for a road trip to the CU Men v CSU basketball game at Moby Gym on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. The game is an early start with tip off at 6:00 PM.

Organizers hope to fill two Denver buses and two Boulder buses. In addition, Athletic Director Mike Bohn told the Denver Buff Club on Friday that he is filling at least one bus with student fans.

The Denver buses will depart Blake Street Tavern, 2301 Blake Street at 4:00 PM and make a second stop in front of the Village Inn Restaurant at I-25 and Hwy 7 at 4:30 PM to load fans from the North side of Denver.

The Boulder buses will depart the Sports Authority parking lot in Boulder at 28th and Iris at 4:00 PM. They will make a second stop in Longmont at the Sports Authority parking lot at Hwy 119 and Hover at 4:15 PM to load fans from Longmont and surrounding communities.

The price of the trip package is $30 and includes a game ticket, round trip transportation as well as food and soft drinks on the bus. The Denver buses will offer a boxed dinner compliments of Blake Street Tavern. The Boulder buses will offer Blackjack Pizza compliments of the Boulder Buff Club. Fans from all locations will enjoy soft drinks compliments of Pepsi.

CU suggests that fans sign up early because the trip will be “first come, first served.” Reservations can be made by contacting Josi Carlson with CU Special Events at 303-492-3213. Please note that your spot on the bus is not guaranteed until you have made a reservation through CU and paid for the trip in advance. Early e-mail promotions attempted to assess the demand for the trip and many fans responded to them expressing interest. Such a response is not a reservation. Call CU today!

Denver organizers have filled one bus and are working on a second. With sufficient fan interest, a third bus is possible.

When Coach Tad Boyle met with The Herd early this fall, he targeted this away game for fan support and urged students to make the trip to Fort Collins. Let’s make the effort to support our team as the Buffs travel to a very hostile Moby Gym.

Two years ago we had a great crowd up there, a full 1/6th of the stadium was wearing B&G. I'm not taking the bus, but I am going.

I called early and reserved my seat. I should probably call back now since I don't trust them to follow up with me to make it happen. It's always a lot of work to give the CU AD money.

Thanks for reminding me. I still need to find out where my damn parking passes are.

When he says he wants to fill the bus with CU students does that mean its free for students or is he really expecting to fill a bus with a bunch of students willing to pay 30$

Stopped by yesterday. They hadn't gotten them back from the printer yet. I was actually talking to the guy who seemed to be in charge. I told him they might want to get on that since they need to get to people ahead of the Georgia game. He said that they might be this week or, if not, he'll make sure to get them next week. At which, I silently gave the patented raised eyebrow WTF look. He hesitated, I could see the wheels spinning as he calculated the game date and time to process sending and receiving mail, and he said, "I better make sure we get them this week."

We'll see.

Any one know where to buy tickets for the game? Do I have to purchase through CSU or is there a way to buy visitor tickets through CU

Even worse to get them to give you a refund after they canceled a women's game because the team was snowed in somewhere in the South. Tried to have me consider it a "contribution" to the athletic department. Told them I have contributed enough since 1974. Some friends had 6 season tickets and had a terrible time getting their money refunded, but we all finally did.

Has anyone else signed up for The Herd trip. I did but haven't found anything regarding where pick-up is. Even in the confirmation email.

Nevermind. Looks like they updated it.

Goose and anyone else...

Who got a seat on the Blake Street bus? I'll be at BST a little after 3pm. Bus leaves at 4.

DAMMIT. Have fun guys. Good thing I'm not going though, I managed to do some mid week drinking last night and I'm hurting.

The Herd is still selling tickets to the game. The bus if full but they have tickets left for anyone driving themselves.

The Herd bus was 15 mins late for the game. There was almost a riot on the bus
