Would be weird to have a strong guy on the team. I like it. Sign him up.

Can you imagine what our front court would look like with this guy and Josh Scott together? we´d be monsterous down low. In a good way. Wes comes along and our frontcourt rotation in 2015 (christ thats far away) could easily be in the top 2 of the Pac-12. I don´t know what our chances of landing him are but I think if he´s interested this is where our last schollie has to go.

Honestly, I'm not as impressed with his highlights as I thought I'd be of a top-40 prospect. He looks to me like a kid who matured physically earlier than most but who is pretty much maxed out now. There were way too many times in those videos where he struggled to get his shot off against HS competition. His size and strength allowed him to make the plays, but I'm not sure that translates well against college competition. He'll be an immediate contributor wherever he goes, but I don't know if I see a huge ceiling.

question is do you think he is a better target than anyone next year?
Honestly, I think they have a good shot at landing a better, more explosive player in the next cycle. That said, there are no guarantees and if Gathers wanted to spend the next 4 years in Boulder, I think you take him. I'm just not gonna lose any sleep over the fact we're probably on the outside looking in at a guy who, imo, seems to be a little overrated.

can't say I agree based on his offer list.

The offer list looks really good, I agree. I'm just not blown away by what I see on the highlights. I think he'll step in and have a good Freshman year, but I'm not sure we'll see him take that next step throughout the rest of his career.
