... will file for the Republican US Senate primary in Texas by the end of Thursday.

Please bear in mind we´re in the football forum here. Thank you. If you want to talk about Craig James´ upcoming career in politics, please open a thread in the politics forum.

Adios Mother****er. Don't let the doorknob hit you in the ass on the way out.

Craig James, check
Lou Holtz, pending
Chris Berman, pending

:congrats::rock::thumbsup2::dance3::leave:

Today is a great day for America. It is also a sad day for the Republic of Texas, ladies and gentlemen, which makes it an even greater day for America.

James was too dumb for ESPN, but probably has what it takes for the US Congress.

I love this move. I watch a lot more ESPN than C-Span.

Jesus Christ lol. That ****nut probably has a good chance to win too. I cant say im surprised really, seems like douches like him are running all the time these days. The Nets owner is running for Russian president I saw, not saying he's a douche, just saw that yesterday.

Not for nothing, but didn't Craig James kill 5 hookers while at SMU? At least I thought I heard somewhere that Craig James killed 5 hookers while at SMU. Of course, it would be unprofessional of me to say Craig James killed 5 hookers while at SMU if Craig James didn't actually kill 5 hookers while at SMU, so I'll continue to assume that Craig James didn't kill 5 hookers while at SMU unless someone brings me proof that Craig James killed 5 hookers while at SMU. Still, twere it true, I would find it hard to believe that anyone would vote for Craig James, since he may have killed 5 hookers while at SMU.

Craig James in the Senate? Well he'll be surrounded by people as vain and stupid as he is...should fit right in.

I'm taking credit. I wrote an email to ESPN a couple of weeks ago re: the injustice of having to watch the pathetic James and the dweeb he works with (cannot for the life of me remember his name) in games only a couple of days apart. They wrote back that they would forward my comments to the appropriate parties, and now he's gone. Cannot be a coincidence.

With the whole Tech and Leach thing, ESPN provided lot of legal protection and air time to make a civil lawsuit from Leach all but impossible. Does this now pave the way for Leach to move forward with civil action?

Issue is Leach now has better things to do. We all know he was correct and has the documentation, does he bother straining his relationship with WSU to pursue a couple million dollar lawsuit? I would guess he does not.

Good point, I would let it go if I were him, but he is just crazy enough to try it.

A more interesting question, IMO, is whether James makes this move if the Pirate were still unemployed.

Right.
As a resident of Texas, I would be more likely to endorse the James Senate campaign if he were running in Washington State.
