Did I just hear that? :wow:

Correction ... TERRY Bowden.

Still surprising.

Gotta coach somewhere. Its not a bad hire for Akron. He proved that he knows X and O's when he won with Dye's players at Auburn.

Out of the Bowdens, I thought he was the best gameday coach.

For a sec, I thought old Bobby was going to try to come back and catch JoePa,

Akron is worse than cleveland, good luck terry.

Standard

He now coaches where I went to college. He takes in 5-10 D1 rejects a year and still can't beat the best D2 teams on a regular basis. Both of our corners this year started in D1 last year. He coaches just like his dad. Recruit athletes, put them on the field, and hope they out-athlete the other team.

Oh****. I thought you were joking with that first post since we always give you crap for saying stuff like that. Sorry for giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Sort of like Frankie at Ohio, low expectations, certainly lower pressure than a major conference.

I guess that is why he got fired and was out of coaching for over ten years.

Got burned out. The guy can coach on gameday as proven by his record with Dye players. Maintaining a program though wasn't a strong suit. I seem to recall he had a lot of player issues at the end of his tenure at Auburn.
