LAS CRUCES - The Aggies plan to hire Brad Bedell as their next offensive line coach, according to a source inside the New Mexico State football program. Bedell comes from UC Davis, and spent the 2010 season at Northern Colorado.
A former player at the University of Colorado, Bedell played five seasons in the NFL with Cleveland, Miami, Green Bay and Houston.

Bedell seems like a good guy and is paying his dues on the assistant coaching circuit. NMSU is a step up from Cal-Davis which was a step up from UNC.

How many more steps till he is back at CU? Can he both coach em' and recruit them?

As an nmsu alum as well I approve of this hire. Walker is making strides down there. That program is beyond awful, but shows some promise.

I think the bowl drought is coming to an end soon as well. That would be sweet for NMSU and for Cruces.
