117 tackles-not bad! I thought we weren't really recruiting LBs except for Rippy. If this is a more recent offer than I guess we are. Some of you will say I am overanalyzing but hopefully this is not because the staff have given up on Rippy and they do want a 1 high quality LB for this class.

Sometimes there are players you want on your team regardless of a need. This usually means they are really ****ing good.

We've got a numbers game for positions. Then, we've got a list of guy we would take regardless of position to finish the class.

I think you are overanalyzing.
 
PA announcer would sound just fine saying "Tackle on the play by Salamo Fiso."

We need quality players at every position. This guy looks like he has the size, the athletic ability, and the skills to be a PAC linebacker for us.

Even if we get Rippy he is only one guy, just like every other position on the team if we can get multiple guys who are upgrades then we should take them if we can.
