Take care of business agains UDub and Wazzu this week and we'll be ranked for the Cal & Stanford weekend at the Keg.

We were picked to finish 12th in the Pac 12.

I think the biggest thing for CU was to beat Utah on the road. CU has not been a good road team for several years now and they got this game on the road and had to come from behind to do it.

I almost thought this was in a football thread.

We are now 9th in the Pac12 in RPI, #90 over all.

Our next two games: Washington just lost at Oregon and Oregon St. in two close games. WSU just killed Oregon and beat OSU by 7, both on the road. UW's SOS is not good either, while WSU's is #14 in the country.

Based on the numbers and both games being in Washington, I predict another nail biter win @UW and a 10 to 15 pt. loss @WSU.

They really should take care of Washington. They lost to Oregon and Oregon is HORRIBLE. Oregon lost to DU by a good 20 or 30 points. WSU should be close.

If this team can end the year close to being ranked it would be huge considering where it has been in recent years.

Just checked to see where the Lady Buffs were ranked - and were surprised they didn't get more than a single vote. Here's hoping they have a pair of strong performances on their trip to the NW.

The Lady Buffs have beat some really bad teams easily and some mediocre teams in close games. That isn't going to get votes. They have to prove that they are for real. From reading on another forum, beating Washington State will be tough. They should beat Washington.

Road wins are a little more valuable come selection time. It would be nice to get 2 W's up north, but winning 2 of 3 on the road to start the conference slate would be a really nice start. Got get 'em ladies!!!

Any chance that one vote comes from a member of the Denver media?
Lappe mentioned the radio show it was from Albuquerque. I'm guessing there aren't too many voting parties in albuquerque, so you could narrow it down if you did some research.
