Thanks JRK.

Just a heads up, make sure you're highlighting all of the word (i.e "Scout") when you link them.

Pretty sure he is the younger brother of Indianapolis Colts saftey and former OSU star Al Afalava. Al has a brother named Jared and is from Hawaii and I read that Jared moved to Utah from Hawaii.

it would be nice to take some of the top recruits out of utah to play for the buffs.....

This kid is a stud. Lays out everyone, can blitz like a banshee and goes for the strip everytime while still wrapping up. Didn't look bad in coverage but there wasn't much film on it.

Scout says he has an offer from UW, Rivals says UO, NU, UW and UCLA. Looks like things are heating up.

Damn this kid hits like a ton of bricks, hopefully he doesn't have a particular affinity for bricks, though.

Want.

Good size with the potential to play early on in his college career. This is a situation where we need the Cabral/Tui combo to do some work.

“Oregon is probably my favorite school right now. I have a cousin, Ricky Heimuli, who plays there, and he absolutely loves it. He texts and calls me all the time, trying to convince me to go up there with him, and I think I might do just that. They have incredible facilities, and they’re a great football program. Them and Utah are my top two schools right now for sure.”

This article was written June 9th. It doesn't mention a Colorado offer at all. This may be a lost cause. I really like this kid's skills.

There was also a Rivals article that published on June 9th. There's good and bad. The good is that we're one of the programs that is recruiting him the hardest, but he didn't have an offer from us at the time the article is written (247sports says we have offered and they last talked to him on June 10th, fwiw). Some more good is that he's going to wait to commit. The bad is that unless we can supplant someone in his top five, we won't be able to get an official visit from him.

"I hear a lot from Utah, a lot from Colorado but they haven't offered yet, and a lot from Oregon and Nebraska," Afalava said of the schools currently recruiting him the hardest.

"My top five is Nebraska, Oregon, BYU, Utah and UCLA. And I'd say that Utah and Oregon are at the top right now. I really like Oregon's facilities and the equipment they have. I've heard that they take really good care of you. Utah is my hometown team, and my mom would like for me to stay close.

"I'll probably go on official visits to my top five schools, and I'll probably decide in December after I take my visits. I'm keeping things open for now."

We've apparently been out of this one from basically the beginning, but he is now a Husker per Scout.

You'd think being from Utah, he'd a.) like the mountains and b.) like the possibility of playing every year against Utah

He's from Utah. If he's gonna go out of state, I can see why he'd want to experience something different than more (albeit, better) mountains. But Lincoln? Geez...you'd think he's have his heart set on some balmy weather and hot chicks.

Flo Cain looks like he's 1) reading from a teleprompter, and 2) correctly realizing this video will seriously harm his street cred.

I hear you. All he's going to find in Lincoln are chicks who need a lot of balm for their meth-induced cold sores.
