Mitchell is not a pure burner, but he has been a productive WR in one of the toughest leagues in California the last two seasons. Expect his stock to soar after standout performances at both Under Armour underclassmen combine and the Army underclassmen combine. Several observers have praised his route running at both events. He should be one of the more highly recruited WRs in California for 2013.

I've seen Mitchell in action more than a few times and I can assure you that his is definitely a PURE BURNER. He can out run any DB you put in front of him. Lightening speed, strong, great hands, and a very good route runner. Mithell's ability to change directions on a dime while maintaining the same speed is outstanding and rare. Great job Steven for standout performances at both combines.

Thanks for the info and welcome to the site.

I love getting 1st hand reports on the guys we're looking at. Especially with no film on Mitchell to look at yet, it's hard to have an opinion.

Thanks for the highlights. I rescind my earlier post about his speed.

The thing that jumps out to me the most from the highlights is his cutting ability and lateral quickness. Very fun to watch.

Welcome to the board!

Liked the interview. Seems humble and coachable. I hope he does great with us or anyone else not in the PAC 12, but mostly us.

My question is does he have any highlights when he is not scoring a 70 yd touchdown off a run, catch, punt or kick return? Geeze. He has wheels and instinct for the game. Wonder why we haven't offered yet. He definitely wants to go Pac 12 it sounds like-if not us hopefully he goes to a North team!

I think what impressed me the most are his hands, some great catches on both sides of the ball, and his vision.

I'd been thinking USC. But it's a bit strange that he's done their junior day and another visit without getting an offer.

Now holds an offer from us. He really wants offers from Oregon and USC (who doesn't), but otherwise, he seems pretty wide open if those two schools do not jump in the fray.

Obviously would be nice to see us get in the mix here. We need to continue to improve the talent at the skill positions.
