Nice game so far for Hansen in the Shrine game

He looked good, had some nice throws including one down the deep slot. Showed a lot of poise.

Miller also looked decent, still bigger than everyone else on the field. Played some at tackle as well.

Tyler may end up being a late round draft choice instead of a UFA.

The one Speedy played in was kinda ugh. Played on a baseball field in Tucson -- the goal posts were the double-posts-in-ground with the aerials above the crossbar that were about half the height of regular ones.

Speedy did okay from what I saw, and the team he was on pulled out the victory in the last 20 seconds.

I'm stationed down here in Tampa and when I saw that Tyler was selected for this game, I jumped on the opportunity to check it out. The family and I had a great time there, my son and I even got Tyler's attention to the exchange some "Go Buffs!" banter. Now, not to take anything away from Creer's performance or game winning touchdown...but watching the game in person, Hansen was by far the game MVP. As with all all-star games, everyone gets a chance; but only when Hansen was in did the West actually become a cohesive offensive unit. Tyler was hitting guys in stride, picking up some good yardage with his feet, and it was because of that, that Creer was able to move the ball. When Hansen wasn't in, the West went nowhere. And without him, they definitely would NOT have scored that winning drive. Congrats to Creer for his MVP, but Hansen should have won it.

It's cool that you had fun, and were able to support loyal Buffs playing in the game.

Thanks for your thoughts, as sometimes it helps to get the perspective of someone who was at the game. It can be especially hard to judge play at an all-star game, when you're not familiar with most of the athletes, and you're only fed the talking points of the even more clueless announcers.
