Higgins on the nuggets...

Reading over the notes from yesterday's nuggets scrimmage it doesn't sound like higgins is going to make the team, probably back to the d-league

The Nuggets have two pretty good rookies who will make the team. I doubt they'd take a third. But Karl has said good things about KH. The D-League would be good for him. Better than riding the bench.

I am also getting the impression that Higgins is the odd man out. Especially if they re-sign Afflalo. Higgins sadly entered a situation that came with a bunch of wing players, with Brewer and Fernandez signing. Good news is he has made an impact and caught a few eyes. Go back to the d-league for a bit after training camp, maybe get a call-up. We all know he will work hard.

Cory just tweeted:

Just received the best Xmas gift of my life. I'm so blessed, hard work pays, dreams can and do come true. Officially on an NBA roster

That's a tough situation playing with your dad in the front office. I hope Cory proves himself and finds a good team to be a solid guy off the bench. He is my second favorite CU Buff bball player of all time after Chaunc, and it's a pretty close second personally.

Congrats to Cory - waiting to see if they give him a few minutes time tonight.

Burks first game comes tomorrow. Alec really struggled in the last preseason game, 0/8 from the field with only 1 pt in 12 minutes of action

Chauncey had a cool 21 tonight for the Clippers in 38 minutes, but was forcing it a bit

Cory got his first minutes of the season today - 9 minutes, 5 points and 2 rebounds in a blowout loss to the Heat

Dwights been at almost every game. Sitting 2 or 3 rows up on the opposite side of the benches. Good buff fan, He was a solid player.

Then it was him cause I was in that first row. Someone went to chest bump him and a full water bottle went all over him, was pretty funny and those seats were allsome.

"ALLSOME"?!?
:wow:
Really?!?

Did you even go to college?

Dwight Thorne is the ****ing man. Major factor in laying the groundwork for CU basketball to be ascending right now. Believe he's playing somewhere in Germany (Karlsruhe last I heard), but I guess their season is played at a different time of the year.
