Post your anti-Rick Reilly tweets here

Stooping to his level isn't the way to go. Hopefully, after next Wednesday, Embree can clarify things. It will be interesting to see how he handles this.

Reilly must have a mortgage payment due. Time to "expose" another black guy...

It's really sad when you catch people who just aren't that hip or interesting anymore trying to leave their smell on something. You can almost see Reilly waiting, desperately, for CU to get some attention before he tries to pin himself to Ralphie's ass just to make a quick buck. He's made a career out of feeling around for other people's personal stories only to cash in on them (and carry away an award).

The tweet was "yo my pops just drove by and splash some jewish lady with mad water..."

To anyone (without an agenda) this is a statement of fact. Maybe she was Jewish, maybe she was Italian, maybe she was Latina who knows for sure. It didn't say anything about his dad purposely splashing someone, and NOTHING about singling out someone because they were jewish. I wonder how many times Rick Reilly has referred to a person as "black" when trying to quickly describe them. Of course a celebrity want-to-be writer with low intelligence, like Reilly, would never know that most black people in America are ACTUALLY a mix of many races, maybe even Irish! I think it's about time somebody took Reilly on personally (on the radio) and called him out on his unbelievably irresponsible reporting with regard to CU. He's the ambulance chaser of sports writers and frankly isn't as funny or interesting as many bloggers (who write for free) these days so he resorts to jumping out of the bushes when something happens he can exploit.

Yuri made a mistake by tweeting foul language but for Reilly to play the antisemite card is far more irresponsible than anything Yuri did. Yuri is a high school kid. Rick Reilly's kid was also in high school once and I think we all know how that turned out. What right does Rick Reilly have to blindly charge someone with antisemitism? The fact Reilly would tweet something like that without even reading (and comprehending) the tweets or speaking with Yuri's dad about whether or not he knew that he had splashed someone when driving away from practice (or one of a million other possibilities) is not journalism. It's attention seeking grandstanding...

I'm a CU graduate too and I will personally call out a fake when I see it and Rick Reilly is a fake. I think Yuri should apologize for his language but that's about all I think this calls for. Rick doesn't speak for Jewish people, black people or CU alumni.

Maybe he should interview another "black" athlete whose mom did crack just so he can make a buck! Reilly only uses CU as a personal ATM machine; I wish someone with some balls would take him on.

I, along with many other Colorado football players over the years, took Hebrew at CU for my foreign language from a wonderful man named Uri Neil who was a veteran Israeli soldier who fought in the '68 Arab/Israeli War. His class was an awesome cultural immersion for a young country boy like myself who really had no prior exposure to the history and depth of tradition within the Jewish faith. My suggestion would be to sign Yuri up for Uri's class and maybe give some pub to that fact. It would be good for everyone.

I looks like the buff fans tweeting at him are mad about the Paterno article. :lol:

All 17-year olds regardless of background should be held to the highest stardards of political correctness when they are tweeting to thier friends. Any breach of this policy should result in the offender being denied a chance at a college educated.

...jackass...

That sounds like an interesting class. I think he's at DU now. I'd be interested in hearing Uri Neil's feelings on a sports writer labeling a 17-18 year old kid "antisemitic" because he described someone's appearance as Jewish (and then revengefully tweeting it to 40,000 followers). I'm not sure the atrocities of the Holocaust should be used to sell magazine subscriptions for ESPN and line the pockets of Rick Reilly while, at the same time, denigrating the Wright family - but I'm just the grandson of a WWI vet, great grandson to a civil war vet and son of the American Revolution (who's also part Native American). Personally, I think people should try to describe others by their names and not their race but I would never go on the war path against a kid for describing someone as Jewish or Black or Muslim or Irish. Let Yuri consume the college experience first (the way RR did) before throwing him into the national debate on the treatment of Jewish people in America or Israel. That's why we have professors like Uri Neil.

Yuri's apology was good to see. I'd expect more class from Embree on Wed. I do not expect any class from Bobblehead and Reilly.

@reillyrick
...people with glass houses shouldn't throw stones at others. I remember you having issues with throwing underage sex parties...
