Danilo Galanari's brother?

Supposedly tearing it up in high school and looking at colleges here in the US. I heard about him a while back and then again today on the radio. Apparently he is going to be fairly sought after by schools in the US. Anyone know if he is on our radar? Could be an easy get with his brother being here for the next 5 years or so.

Wow if this kid is good and we wanted him he would be an easy get for us. Gallo absolutely loves Denver and says it reminds him a lot of his hometown in Italy.

Just did a little research and I'm not sure if he has another brother but I found an article from 2010 saying his brother Federico was only 13?

Yeah, I think he is 15 or 16 which would make sense with what you read and would make NOW the time to start talking to him. I obviously have never seen him but have heard about him a couple times now so i got my curiosity up... It has been reported that he will be better than his brother, but who knows at this point.

Sounds pretty intriguing I would LOVE to have a Gallinari type player on the Buffs

Slightly off-topic, but as a diehard Nugs fan, I badly hope this is true and Gallo sticks around for the long-term.

I had to look up his hometown. Milan. He has a point. Milan sits right at the base of the Alps. There are some similarities.

Milan, Italy. I can see the similarities, although Milan is a much, much older city than Denver. There are neighborhoods in Milan that are 2,000 years old.

Yep. But those 'hoods aren't as nice as they used to be.

Gallo was on Hastings/Goodman's show on 104.3 today, they talked about his brother a little bit. Gallo said he wanted to come to the US to play college ball, he is 14. Scott asked him if he was better than he was at 14, Gallo said you would have to ask his parents, that they would remember better, but his brother is growing and getter better. He also talked about the similiarities between Denver and Milan and how much his parents like it here and how surprised they were about how good the weather is.

After he hung up Goodman said maybe there is a chance we'll get to see his brother play on the front range.

Found this pic on the interwebs
