The Post had a long article about Joey O'Conner and a shorter one about Alex Kozan. I don't give a rat's ass about either one of them. Give me articles about in state kids who are staying in state. Nothing against those guys, but they aren't Coloradans. Am I bitter? Yeah, I admit, I am a little bit. Colorado isn't like Texas or California where there are tons of talented kids. So, yeah, I do admit that when a top tier talent from in state choosed to blow off CU, I get a little pissed.

I read it and thought it was a decent article. The last couple months for him must have been crazy.

I do not begrudge him because he was upfront with his desire to leave the state.

I had the same feelings of bitterness and sour grapes. Then when I consider how many games he'll probably win at OSU vs. potential wins over the same period at CU I get even more bitter.

But rather than direct it at the blameless kid, I prefer to take it out on the Fraudulent Hawkins and the head in the sand combo of Benson/DiStefano.

I don't begrudge him either. At the same time, if the Denver Post is going to write about recruiting, I want to read about the University of Colorado recruits and, I assume, the rammies want to read about their recruits. I don't want to read about an ohio st. recruit.

You should start doing in-homes for the recruits.

Even when Colorado is back on top, we will still lose some kids who don't want to stay in state.
And I only care about the kids who stay. I don't want to read full page articles on the guys that leave. I don't hate 'em. I'm not all that mad at 'em. I just don't care about why they chose ohio state or whatever school. I'd rather read a full page article on a kid from California who is coming to CU.

Well the post made sure to have 2 articles about yurri wright today . woody paige and lindsey jones, i thought they only wrote about tebow.

I actually liked the post today (i know, i know). 4 Articles on CU, 0 on csu. Sounds about right.

That and a banner across the front page that read "Wright brings baggage to CU" or some ****
