That's why we buy season tickets.

That's why we waste hours on message boards.

That's why we suffer through the bad times.

Tonight was one hell of a great time and an allsome win.

Rebuilding year? **** that! We don't rebuild, we reload!

I love me some Buffs basketball!

I was just thinking tonight about one of those preseason preview mags I was reading before the season that picked the Buffs to finish last.

**** those guys...

Can you imagine that we may become a team that does just Reload?? I see teams like Kansas and Duke and UNC and Michigan State and UCONN and etc... there is no drop off because they just reload they dont rebuild.

In basketball? Wow, I understand the whole losing top 4 scorers thing being seen as an issue but there was no way USC, ASU, or Utah were going to be better than us and CU destroyed Oregon St. last year.

Dinwiddie and Booker have exceeded expectations and Roberson has had an absolute monster of a year. They're definitely overachieving already, which is a great sign.

Yeah, in basketball. Looked at a couple others at the same time. One other had us 11th, ahead of Utah. And the third one was wildly optimistic - had us finishing 8th...

I'll admit I didn't expect us to be doing as well as we are after all the guys we lost, but I never believed we'd be 11th or 12th, either... Just imagine where we might be if Burks had come back for one more year...

There are some funny posts from this board from November. After seeing the rough start the Pac12 was off to, some of us dared to suggest the Buffs could finish 7th, or even possibly crack the top half of the league at 6th. Others insisted that these posters were downright insane!!

sounds kinda like some recent football talk

Given the attendance and TV coverage, the CU Men's BB team has must be turning a nice little profit. From a TV viewer perspective, the crowd at the CEC looked and sounded like big-time supporters. The keg was rocking. Boyle's squad knows how to win and rally fan support. Way to battle the snow storm, show up, sell out, and act loud and proud.

That "air ball" chant in the first half was priceless.

The crowds at CEC have improved dramatically in both size and intensity the past 2 seasons. Up until these past 2 seasons, watching many home games it sounded liked they were playing in a morgue at times.

I'm not ready to donate for the national championship trophy case yet but you have to like what Tad is doing.

He has brought enthusiasm and a winning attitude to both the team and the fans, we now go into games expecting to win and people are dissapointed when we don't. That attitude piece may be the single toughest part of the whole process.

He is recruiting quality players who are not only talented but also fit what he wants to do and are willing to work to improve and play as a part of the team.

Another thing I have noticed with him is that his teams improve compared to the competition as the year goes on. In basketball this is critical since it is such a long season. Teams that struggle early then get it together as the year goes on have a much better shot in the tourney that teams that start out on a peak and have to struggle to maintain the momentum over the year. It may not happen this year but sooner than later Tad will have his teams in the tourney on a regular basis and he will be one of those coaches teams don't want to get matched up against regardless of the seedings.

I will be told about many complaints against me when I call to renew/upgrade my season tickets. I will have a ****eating grin on my face at that time.

This is my "shocked face":

They need to start having Ralphie run around the court before each half.

This is what I was talking about when I said "I look forward to this board when were 8-3" after the UCLA loss. Go Buffs!

Highlights

Hey where can I find highlights of that game? I found some on the team site, but they don't do it justice since they only show CU's plays. I checked espn, foxsports, ROOT, and the daily camera and didn't find any. Does anyone know where I can find highlights of the Oregon game?

I have a feeling I might be in the same boat with you. Not sure my section likes me much.

I didn't even attempt going to bed until 1 am after that game and I STILL couldn't sleep because I was amped from it. That was amazing. Wow. Seriously people, if you're on the fence about season tickets, get them now. This thing is gaining momentum quickly. I'll fully admit this is my first year getting them because I was cheap and knew I could get tickets from scalpers/friends cheaper than the season tix. That started to change last year and I'm so glad I signed up for this season. You're not going to find a better value out there.

I keep telling everyone I know, Parents, Grandparents, friends, to get out to a game. The atmosphere in the Keg is so amazing I know they'll end up buying season tix for next year.
