Wow. Want. Cedric was fast and made some great plays, but this kid could be very special.

FWIW, not aware of any relation to Cedric.

Pierre finished his junior season with over 1,500 yards and 22 total TDs.

With payne being an every down big back, a kid like this would add that other dimension to our running game that truly turns a regular offense into a dynamic rushing attack. Would be very excited to see him in the black and gold

Loved pretty much everything I saw from him there. Speed, agility, balance, and he was still able to fight thru tackles.

I don't think he "fought" through tackles... they just slipped off of him.

That's what Im talking about. This is the homerun threat type rb we lack. This guy gets any space, he's gone before you know what the **** happened. That kid was just striding it when he got in the open and nobody was closing, he was pulling away. Hes got that ability to change speed too, he knows when to kick it into gear and he's to full speed in a few steps.

I'm seeing a large difference in athletic ability between a kid like this and a kid like Phillip Lindsay.

Watched the first minute and a half. Had to stop to protect myself. Not good to fall too hard too fast.

I would LOVE to get this kid to Boulder...

I watched about half the video, stopped when he first got tackled (other than thrown down out of bounds outside the end zone after he scored). Does he play good opposition? Because he just ran away from most of those dbacks. I've been pretty impressed with the quality of offers, as I'm catching up on the 2013 threads.

[h=1]UCLA 1st to offer San Diego sleeper[/h]
Outside of UCLA, Cormier has a couple of other schools he’s hoping will show some interest.
“It’d be nice to hear from Pac-12 conference schools like Oregon, possibly Cal or Arizona,” he said. “My favorite team to watch on TV is Oregon. That’s just my favorite team to watch. As far as schools that I’d want to play college football, UCLA definitely. It’s in a good conference. It’s not far from home. It’s in a good environment.”

I am currently one of Pierre coaches, the kid is good, really good. He only had 1500 yards and 22 tds because we had a QB that could sling the ball around so he only got 15 to 20 carries a game. As for the competition we played, it was really good, other than 2 teams in our schedule every team made the playoffs, we also played 4 teams in the top 10.

Thanks for the info and don't be a stranger! We're very hospitable (at least, to our guests with player connections...).

Thank you for posting. He looks like I want him on my team.

Your welcome. I have been coaching these kid since youth football when he was in the 7th grade and it has been nothing but a pleasure. He is very coachable, hard worker, and team player. He not once complained if he did not get the ball.
