Harris has definitely been impressing scouts, starting with a December tournament but really taking off when he went off for 25 points (4 of 9 from three) at the Nike Extravaganza last week.

I like that he was a heck of a wide receiver for the football team (36 catches for 908 yards and 9 TDs).

I think the big thing that slowed his recruitment is that he wasn't sure whether he'd play football and basketball so, since he was getting ready for football season, he didn't participate on the AAU circuit.

Don't see why not (hudl is blocked at my work, so I'm going to let someone else do the heavy lifting).

YMSSR. If someone can hit Snow for me, I'd appreciate it.

EDIT -- And Nik did the heavy lifting. To quote both DyeMeDuke from the basketball thread and Nikita from, well, elsewhere - "damn you're fast".

Marvelle Harris and Brendyn Taylor were matched up against each other at Nike Extravaganza, Marvelle Harris (25pts) outplayed BT and it wasn't even close. He's much better defensively too. No one really knew about the kid except for Fresno St, it was his coming out party. He told me he wasn't even being contacted by other schools, Fresno St. has to be mad they weren't able to close lol
