On a positive note, Julie Seabrook leaves the CEC with a victory!

Although the Conference part of the womens season has been disappointing, it is always good to see a senior leave with a win. She had a double-double in her last home game. Thanks Julie for being an awesome Buff! Good luck in the Pac12 Tourney!

side note; Lexy Kresl 6-7 from the 3pt line! Nice work freshman!

Hopefully we can make a little run in the tournament, what seed are we?

Edit: 10 seed, face 7 seed Utah

Kresl ended the night with 20 pts, Jeffrey 13 and Seabrook 11. They finally figured out they need 3 players in double figures to win!

Malcolm-Peck and Sborov had 8 each.

However, they shot poorly from the free throw line.

What is it with both the mens and womens teams struggling at the line. I just don't get it.

Sborov is slowly but surely improving and getting more time. She is looking good. Also, I am happy MMP is starting to shoot a little better as of late.

Rubber game on a neutral court. Should be a good game.

Women needed this win.

They started the season on such a positive but then hit a rough stretch. Winning this game and hopefully a game in the tourney will give them a positive to go into the off-season with.

Lappe has done a good job with this team. They did better than expectations, especially with some of the injuries that happened. PAC is a tough league for WBB but the team should be better next year. It would be good to see us back as a regular NCAA tourney team.

Win would mean a lot for NIT.

Also, getting a 10 seed was ideal. No Stanford until the final and everyone else is vulnerable if we play 40 minutes of defense and move the ball on offense.

My thoughts. Very happy to be on the other side of the bracket than Stanford. Several players from southern California, so they should have family cheering them on.

Looks like the women will play at 6 pm on Wednesday. You can watch it on the PAC-12 Youtube channel.

Thanks for the tip Goose! I didn't even know there was a PAC12 Youtube channel.

Of course I am rooting for a big win against the Yutes and more in the conference tourney but no matter what happens, I am happy with this season. They have exceeded expectations and the freshman got a lot of minutes in doing so. Lappe has built a very solid foundation for future success.

Go Buffs!

I didn't know there was a You Tube channel either. I will get to watch the game the women play online, as I've watched the home games that are not televised. It's so hard to cheer on my team from afar.

I have confidence that Lappe WILL get the job done at CU.

Go Buffs!
