Pac-12 Tournament

CSU Knob-Slobberer
It's tourney time!

Today's games are:

All times are Pacific

#8 WSU vs #9 OSU noon
#5 UCLA vs #12 USC 2:30 pm
#7 Furd vs #10 ASU 6 pm
#6 CU vs #11 Utah 8:30 pm

I'm thinking OSU, UCLA, Furd, and CU win today.

GO BUFFS!

Praying for Stanford to lose. That is the one team that literally scares the hell out of me. They have to beat ASU & Cal to advance to the point where we could hypothetically play them, but I don't want to risk it. So go ASU!

They definitely scare the hell out of me too, but on the bright side, it's tough to beat a team three times in one season (hopefully we don't find that out the hard way tonight against Utah)

In reality, it'll even be 10-15 minutes past that. If one or two of the evening games previous to us go to overtime, forget it...

Definitely one minor drawback to PAC 12 membership. Gonna have to read about the game tomorrow.

OSU versus WSU is a very close game. 1:55 left in the 1st half and they are tied up at 36

Anyone else think that 50 students is gonna sound like 5,000 in this empty stadium?

I take it neither UBL or Creatini got the invite as one of the 50 students? Although UBL's post makes it sound like he is there.

Nah I didn't make it. I made it to the drawing but didn't get chosen. Heard it wasn't exactly random but oh well.

Imagine if that hood was lifted to reveal the face of a dude... Do not like this pic.

Good game, 60-60 with 3 mins remaining

Edit: 9 seed Oregon State gets the win. Could be a sneaky-dangerous game for Washington tomorrow. The Beavs are a decent team when they're clicking, and they've now won 3 in a row to get to 18-13. Washington State's season is over at 15-16.

BTW this might seem like a small thing but its the first thing I look for at every game away from coors. Looks like they will be using Nike basketballs for the entire tournament. It makes a difference when its the same ball you practice with every day.

UCLA ended up winning pretty easily, 55-40, after a rough start. Bruins are now 19-13 and look to be in good shape for the NIT, even with a loss to Arizona tomorrow, IMO. USC's season mercifully ends at 6-26.

Stanford taking a dump on ASU, 50-30 at halftime. Let's get this **** over with and get the Buffs game on!!

Stanford gets a convincing win over Arizona State, 85-65/ Cardinal are yet another strong candidate for the NIT, now sitting at 21-10. For the Sun Devils, I'm sure they're glad the season is over at this point, finishing 10-21. I would imagine Sendek gets one more year

Let's hope. He's not recruiting well and the program's a mess.

They should have Jahii Carson eligible next year though. That'll help. Just not sure if it'll be enough to take them further than just mediocre from terrible though.

ASU extended Sendek through the 2015-16 season in December (wow). The talking heads down here are saying he'll get at least another year.
