28 points and 11 rebounds on a night when Katin Reinhardt was out with a thumb injury. Onto the Semis.

The X-Man Cometh!

Just another night at the office for Johnson as Mater Dei beat Bullard last night: a team-leading 26 points and 11 rebounds. He's really taking over during this run through the state tourney.

He steps up when he's needed, he's going to be huge for us from day one. He's also coming in with a chip on his shoulder to prove the doubters wrong.

Who are these doubters you're referring to?

The doubters are not doubting his talent, because that is apparent to anyone who watches him play. The doubters are about his school choice. He tweeted a lot during the Pac-12 tournament how our success was going to shut a lot of people up.

This to. He had a couple though saying that people doubted his talent, not sure how or why.

Apparently he didn't dominate last summer the way people expected and a few of the west coast schools considered him more of a complimentary piece than a star and backed off of him. Xavier felt he was just playing the role he was asked and didn't think it was fair. Lucky for us though, I think he would've stayed on the coast (or Tuscon ) if things had worked out differently.
