Apologies to all who are watching me build this profile step by step. I'm trying to set this up discretely on the girlfriend's laptop while we get ready for a dinner party. Normally, it could wait, but we're talking about Sam Cassell's son here. Dinner parties can wait for that.

Hat tip on this one goes to Chip the Buffalo on Twitter. From Joe Davis:

Notre Dame PG Sam Cassell jr is listing Maryland, Villanova, Fla St, Va Tech, Colorado, Washington, UCF, Seton Hall & UCONN

Sounds like he is your stereotypical swing guard who can play both the 1 & 2 -- exactly what we're looking for. His offers look to be more impressive than his ranking right now, so he could be a steal for someone. Most importantly, it could possibly bring his Dad's "big testicle" dance to the Keg. Would that make you happy Sam Sr?

ET for threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

This one seems like it's out of the blue, but I'd love to see him here. From the little I've seen, he looks the most ready of the current recruits to make an impact next year. I like that mid-range game, too.

I am a huge Houston Rockets fan. I miss those days of Sam Cassell, Kevin the Jet Smith, Mario Ellie, Robert Horry and The Dream. Will keep an eye out for Maryland games.

I love the fact that CU basketball is getting quite the attention when it comes to recruits.

According to everyone on twitter, he's a Terrapin.

Dad apparently isn't happy with Jr. announcing this without consulting him, and cancelling his final two visits (including Cassell's alma mater, Florida State). Now there is talk that he's not committed yet.

What was Jr's mom thinking? I mean, it worked out well for Jr. But eeewww!
