I just realized that I'll never hate any team in the PAC 12 as much as Nebraska

I don't know what it is exactlyhusker_bevis.jpg about NU fans that even make their coach say he sometimes "wants to punch Nebraska fans in the face".
This Husker really reminds me of Bevis. What do you think?

I still hate Nebraska most. But during the whole Baylor blow up I couldn't help but think that maybe we were so pissed at them because we weren't hating the nubs as much and all that anger had yet to find a home. Don't get me wrong we have a solid reason to hate Baylor (mainly because they're senselessly arrogant, morally bankrupt ****-tards) but it felt like we overreacted a bit.

I firmly believe that we underreacted in the case of Baylor.

But it will be tough to hate a team more than nebraska. USC is off to a good start, though.

My god - that's not a forehead, that's a fivehead. But that tat looks photoshopped to me. I have to spend every Christmas with Nub fans, and that's been a little less painful since the move.

Give it time...a Pac-12 school will emerge and I believe it will come within the four Mountain schools. I hope so since suppose the Pac-12 goes to 16 with or without the Big 12 South schools (sans Baylor of course), USC and UCLA will be in a Pac-8 division. If it's not Utah, I feel it will be Arizona followed by Arizona State. Both Utah and ASU do depend on quite a few JUCOs like KSU did in the Big 12 and we used to rip on KSU for that.

I've spent well over half of my life hating Nebraska - and that's a lot of years now.
Rivalries will develop with the Pac-12 schools over time, but I every Saturday in the fall I will cheer for two teams - Colorado ... and whoever is playing Nebraska that weekend.

I don't agree. Baylor never had a snowballs chance in hell of going to the PAC no matter how hard they tried. Baylor is like a red headed stepchild throwing a tantrum. You pity the kid, because you know no one cares.

The Nub hatred runs deep and will not die. However, USC is a very good replacement candidate.

I think it's OK to still hate Nebraska, hell, their fans alone support this. I've coaxed a little hate to bud for Baylor. I don't what it is about UCLA, but for some reason I want to punch them in the throat. They haven't really done anything outright, but I just really feel like an ass-beating is in order.

Yeah! **** Utah! **** Arizona! I can't wait to hate those guys! I'm so angry!

Oh wait...I'm not falling for this. You're just trying to undermine my hate for Baylor by building a sense of hope for new hate in the future.

Okay, I'm heading back to the **** Baylor thread.

With all due respect to our local duck representative, who works very hard to keep us happy with cheerleader images, I am going to be very happy to hate the ducks in the coming years.

I'd hate Utah a lot more if they could beat us in anything other than women's and Olympic sports.

Ugh. I, like NW Buff, live squarely in Duck/Beav territory. Beav fans are actually ok, but Duck fans (I have found) to be universally insufferable. I don't hate UO as much as nubs, but give it 5 years.

Nebraska-1
csu- 1A

Even though I married a Nebraska grad, I've hated the corn since I began following the Buffs in the early 70's.

I fully expect a hatred toward one of our PAC rivals to bloom, I just haven't figured out which school to plant the seed.

never say never. the fusker hate is grounded in many years of actual bad behavior on their part. it is impossible to replicate that level of hatred quickly. the wrong-doing has to be long term and significant.

sure, on one level, it is easy to "hate" oregon, for example, because of their noveau riche attitude in football glory. but, that "hate" won't have "sal is dead, go big red" or warden tom voting us down in the coaches poll to keep us from winning the nc outright. it won't have the hometown **** jobs by fusker alum refs (which still astounds me to this day that this is allowed). it won't have all the other slights and wrongs, large and small, that take a rivalry from good fun, on the field, "hate" to actual real hatred.

in time, anything can happen. but, part of me hopes that we never have to deal with things like that again.

Oregon is easy to hate because of their endless supply of stupid-looking uniforms, the fact that about the only reason for their success is because they happen to have Phil Knight in their back pocket, and Chip Kelly just comes across as extremely dislikeable.

I've always liked USC because they're a rival of ND, and well, that seals it.

Other than that the rest of the conference is just "meh" to me.

Stanford is my P12 most hated team.

They smoked CU in football, on the field and on the recruiting trail.

They smoked us in basketball. Twice.

They are red. (Those old habits die hard).

They are a private school (like Baylor) who are full of themselves. With all that money, you'd think they could buy some fans. They like to think of themeselves as elite. I'm not falling for it. Screw the trees, their non-smack talking fans, their ugly cheerleaders, and that BS better than you attitude.

When a loyal and dedicated Buff fan like Sacky has a hard time advising some kid to take a CU scholly over an offer from Stanford, then it becomes clear that tree is evil and is worthy of scorn.

I hate those guys.

Liver, I haven't spent a whole lot of time in Oregon. However, in my brief time there, I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be very hard to get them start ****ing their sisters while doing rails of meth off their backs.

This thread is the most entertaining one fro me since the Buffs joined the 12-Pac! Great reading!

I just have to respond to Liver's post though.

Not sure what games you been watching? Sober anyway! You said "the fusker hate is grounded in many years of actual bad behavior on their part."

I can't see your entire point, aside from the "Sal is Dead" thing. Castration is order for all those involved with that. There are bad fans of both teams. But I would have to day CU fans took the overall cake. They rivaled some of the worst in the country, aside from some of those drunken Penn State idiots.

It's all in fun, but let's properly call a turd a turd and not rewrite history. LOL!

Problem: It's very hard to hate a team with no fans.

Yes, we know all about the husker "myths" concerning cu fans. Throwing grandmothers down flights of stairs, piss bombs etc....More BS from the children of the corn.

The movie There Will Be Blood is pretty much based on Leland Stanford...except you'd have to replace the oil story with a robber barron railroad tycoon. FACT.

No one has ever been able to define for me "the worst fans in the country."

What do the worst fans in the country do? What do those drunken Penn State idiots do worse than the Nebraskan drunken idiots?

i'm talking about their program, its leaders, and associated institutions, not their fans, for the most part. the sal is dead thing was bad fans in action, but was never condemned by the institution either.

the warden tom coaches' poll vote was institutional bad behavior. the fusker alum ref jobbing CU in a conf. game is institutional bad behavior. the nebraska state police stopping several hundred caravaning CU students at the border to shake them down is institutional bad behavior. i could go on and on.

**** them. they are yesterday's news.

I mean I was doing 90 in a 75 zone on I-80 near Ogallala.

Rep. This has to be a picture of Buff Surveyor. The image is exactly as I pictured him.

yeah, but the hookers, blow, grass, meth, and 10 cases of budweiser in the car were what really pissed them off.
Now that would be believable except everyone knows that Jews don't drink Budweiser.
