Tipping things off with Kentucky vs Louisville right now.

'Ville needs to find a way to keep it close and hope that they can wear Kentucky down.

Just when you think KY is going to blow the game wide open, Louisville comes back.

If Seeva gets into foul trouble again, Louisville is in trouble

Kentucky is scary talented.

Louisville has got to make some halftime adjustments to force them to shoot. They're fortunate to only be down 7.

Calipari team not shooting free throws well...seems familiar.

In case some of you don't follow recruiting or don't remember, it looked like we were getting a visit from Dieng and had a shot. He was all Louisville early, but then started looking around with CU firmly in the mix.

The one position we have continued to miss on has been athletic PF/C guys (N'Diaye, too, among others). Hopefully Scott and Gordon change that and we can take this thing to the next level.

Louisville's last minute was pittiful. How do you not extend the game w/ fouls against a team that couldn't hit a FT?

Davis is spectacular. Got to be the #1 overall pick. He's a game changer like no one else in college ball and very few PFs in the NBA.

Unbelievable hand/eye coordination and body control/athleticism for someone who was 6'2" before his senior year in high school and grew to 6'10" through the year.

I think it was Chad Ford, but someone on twitter Saturday night said that NBA GM's are talking about Anthony Davis as a Tim Duncan or Hakeem Olajuwon type talent. At first I thought it was ridiculous, but when you consider the little bit of time he's been playing in the post, and compare his numbers to Tim's, it's not completely unrealistic to think.

I think the better comparison might be Kevin Garnett. I think he's more athletic than a young KG, though. Davis has future HOFer written all over him.

yup... I mean, he's had what, a year to work on his post game? Tops?

As much as I hate the jayhawks, success in the BigXII can only help keep that conference stay alive just a bit longer for those worried about the conference landscape changing again.

I want the jayhawks to win tonight, only because it verifies Calipari's System of recruiting players and telling them they do not need to worry about graduating if they come to kentucky does not win championships. It will win a lot of games but so far has not won him a title. That can only be good for the college game.

Plus if they can somehow get davis back in order to win the title next year, I want to be able to see some people with fear the brow signs, and stick on unibrows lol
