Like him as a prospect quite a bit. It would appear how well we do in Orange County this cycle is going to determine the overall success of our OL recruiting in this class.

Our JR day is shaping up quite nicely

Especially along the OL. Colin Sutton might be there as well, or he might be here earlier in the week. If the coaches want to prove last year's OL recruiting was an aberration, this weekend is the first big step.

God, I hope so.

"We met with [offensive line] coach [Steve] Marshall and met with [head] coach [Jon] Embree a little bit and they showed us around," Harlow said. "But they are building a new complex that will be done by the time I am a sophomore so their facilities will look a lot different in the future.

And new information arises. Bohn must really have everything set up and ready to go if we are gonna get it done by 2015.

He could use a good year in the weight room and at the training table to get up to a good weight. Plus, we are going to have a veteran group in 2013 (hopefully). My guess is most or all of the OL we sign in this class will redshirt, as it should be.

That would be lovely

Yeah, I probably should've clarified - I agree that he'll likely redshirt, I'd just be surprised if a kid with half a dozen BCS offers almost a year before signing day is already planning on a redshirt year. I'm sure he wants to play as a freshman and is anticipating being on the field, even if those recruiting him aren't. Either way, it's good to hear the upgrades should be completed relatively soon.

Maybe. OL is the one position where it's common to hear a recruit say that he wants to redshirt. If I had my way, they'd all grayshirt and then redshirt.

Visits can have a big impact for sure, but he's already visited all three schools unofficially...and Oregon State twice.
He's also visited CU twice and according to BuffScoop, OSU is just ahead of CU but I don't see him going to Boise.

Would be surprised if it is not Oregon State (and yes, primarily because of the position coach there).

Yeah, that's my take too. Both of our schools have some ground to make up, but I'd definitely name Oregon State the leader right now though neither of us are out of it yet.

We need OSU to have a bad season since Riley is on the hot seat after last year.

OSU tends to do very well with recruits valuing the "family atmosphere" item very highly I've noticed. Every school tends to bring their own value propositions to the table, but OSU hangs it's hat on the atmosphere item quite a bit.

Everyone is pushing that family atmosphere thing pretty hard right now. Well, almost everyone. Auburn is still pushing cash.
