Career High Tonight for

Kudos to Cory! I've been trying to keep an eye on the box scores. He hasn't played in a couple of weeks - not sure if dinged up or they sent him to the ndbl. Good to see him back on the big stage.

Did Higgins have better teammates on CU or the Bobcats?

The Bobcats would beat our 2010-11 team 150-50. Easily, and maybe even more

I refuse to use the sarcasm font, but come on man, the bobcats suck. We could at least keep it under 100.

They already average 88 points/game. You really think there's only a 12 point difference? Cory Higgins is basically the 12 man off the bench on a "sucky" team, and he was a GREAT player for us. Think about that

You're taking a comment that was obviously meant as a joke entirely too literally. And for the record, the "100" he's referring to is whether CU could lose by less than 100, not hold the Bobcats under 100 pts.

I do think Kentucky would beat them if they had some games to get used to NBA competition and rules first. There are more lottery talents on UK's roster than Charlotte's.

The bobcats are still an NBA team with years of talent. Last years final four MVP is on that team. Kemba?

Yes, thank you good sir. Go Corey Higgins and go CU!

Kind of off topic, but the latest debate between me and my friends is, what level of mens basketball could Brittany Griner be competitive and effective?

It doesn't move athletically for a guy. It also doesn't have much in the way of hops. I would say it could be a Shane in mens college.

Except that she's a few inches shorter and doesn't have anywhere near the strength.

so here is the MPG for the bobcats roster

DJ Augustin = 29.1 MPG
Bismack Biyombo = 21.1 MPG
Derrick Brown = 20.6 MPG
Matt Carroll = 11.3 MPG
DeSagana Diop = 12.2 MPG
Gerald Henderson = 33.2 MPG
Cory Higgins = 11.4 MPG
Corey Maggette = 27.9 MPG
Byron Mullens = 21.5 MPG
Eduardo Najera = 12.3 MPG
Tyrus Thomas = 19.7 MPG
Kemba Walker = 27.1 MPG
DJ White = 18.7 MPG
Reggie Williams = 23.5 MPG

As you can see Higgins is 2nd to last. He is ranked #39 in rookies in minutes per game, this shows the full list:

:yeahthat:

And it'd just be competitive and effective... not superstar status or anywhere close. There are many High school boys who would just be too strong and athletic for Griner.

She wouldn't be too good. Average 6-8 ppg, imo.
