If God has a sense of humor this will happen

Oh please let D2 go to SEC country. Please let it happen. Maybe it would remove the curse that appears to be on our program.

with the way our karma has gone lately, he'll go there and win ten ****ing games his first year and get them into a bcs bowl.

but, thankfully, he sucks about as bad as any coach ever in the history of organized sports, going back to ancient greece. so, i think it is safe to say that he won't even be interviewed for the job. if he ever wants to get a chance again, he'll need to go be a coordinator and have success or go small-school and have success. the stain he left in boulder covers his own sorry arse as well.

Paging BUFFNUT99...

need an arky parody ASAP.

Well...it's about cleaning up the pen. It's one of those deals where you gotta curl your tail and keep your snout up.

Arkansas:
Former Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins has expressed interest in the Arkansas Central Community College job. He has expressed interest in other jobs as well but he may be qualified for this one.

Just gotta dig your hoof in the ground...

yeah SEC fan will love the sunshine pumping and comments like "it's not about wining football games, it's about making solid citizens".

I'm pulling for Hawkins to get this gig. The SEC will never be the same. And the Hogs, what more can I say?

I don't want him to get any other jobs just in case he gets some awesome coordinator like Peterson and actually has success.

The mouth that wouldn't die.jpgEven stupid, red neck, hillbilliy, inbred, morons that have intercourse with sows know better than to hire a twit like Hawkins. His next job will be cleaning the showers at penn State after Sandusky has prison sexed a nine year old.

The fact that he would even let his interest out in the public shows his complete lack of understanding of how badly he failed at CU. It isn't like it was a mixed bag that could have gone either way "Gee, if I'd only had 2 more years, I would have shown we had that thing turned around". No, it was a total failure that got worse to the point of being torturous.

HaHa

Dan Hawkins is by far the worst suggestion that I have heard yet! I would rather have Jessica Dorrell as the head coach. She has less experience than Hawkins, but I bet she can recruit a lot better!

I cannot in good conscience hope for D2 to "coach" again anywhere other than Nebraska.

D II is an egomaniac. IMO he truly believes he did a great job and other factors kept him from being the overwhelming success he believes himself to be. Self delusion is perhaps one of life's cruelest conditions.....

I don't think Arkansas could handle the annual beatdowns from Mizzou. This would be hilarious.

Wait, you don't get it. The way to coach isn't to figure out what isn't working and try something different, it's to keep trying the same thing over and over and over again until it works. Every successful head coach knows this. You must have never taken any chances in your life.

Great post - the dude is completely delusional and out of it. The only place he could coach would be an intramural league, and his team would suck.

We were only about 10 plays away from winning a championship every year.
