I'm liking this kid more and more. Could be a mauler at guard.

Thanks for posting this 'nik. He's got better feet than I expected and plays a physical game.

We are truly blessed to have bb2's incomparable wisdom regarding recruiting and football.

You never really know until we offer, but he doesn't even seem interested in going to the CU Big man's camp. Having said that, I doubt we offer anyway

Oops spoke too soon. A concerning thing is the staff didn't even know who this guy was until the Spring Game. That coupled with the fact that Kanavis didn't know Berk even played DE. I think it's fair to say our staff's in-state connections are very limited.

Nowland is my guess for our next commit, coming in June. He is a bit under the radar now, but I think he'd be getting offers from Oregon and USC once we get closer to NSD. I like his size relative to his athleticism. He seems very capable to carry 310 to 320 pounds and keep his quickness and nastiness.

Douglas County's OL coach seemed very high on him. Probably more so than he was on Ethan Adkins and Mike Moudy

The Rivals feature on him this week is top notch. Adam and Maximus Buff did a good job. I am not quite as high on him as Maximus is, but I would take Nowland over Skipper any day of the week. Hope we get good news here soon.

Buffs seriously are having OL recruiting problems. When is enough ... enough re: Marshall's job?

I've been a huge critic of OL recruiting but I'm not gonna crucify the staff on this one yet.

As I said... Good pickup for CSU. He'll be a good player for them.

Regarding the comment about CU having to settle for some 2* OLs this year, I don't think that will be the case.

fwiw, Nowland is a 2* or low 3* depending on the evaluation. I was warming to him and think he's a guy who is developing late and could be a very good college OL.

Where is the CSU commitment being reported? None of the premium profiles are showing him as committed.
