Since becoming CU's head coach, Embree has moved into the role as a Chairman. Former Buff quarterback and local sports talk radio personality Joel Klatt has become the President of Buffs4Life....

That begs the question, what can CU fans do to get involved with Buffs4Life?

"It is very easy. They can go to our website, Buffs4Life.org and there are three ways to donate," [Lance] Carl said. "They can volunteer to help with the weekend events. Or they can participate by playing in the golf tournament (which will take place on June 25 this year) or they can just donate their money and attribute it any way they'd like. The support the community has had over the last seven years has been fantastic."

"We try to keep our fee low for the golf tournament because we want people to get involved," he added. "You can sign up as an individual for $325 or sign up as a foursome and get matched up with a former Buff or a coach. The amount of things that the golfers get is amazing. Two years ago, we gave away adidas golf shoes and NIKE sweatshirts and last year we gave away a NIKE travel bag that was valued at $280. We have great prizes throughout the golf course and our sponsors are out on the golf course."

$325 for a round of golf is not "inexpensive". Even a charity fundraiser.

A little steep for me, as well.

Klatt is such a dick on the radio. I hope he comes across more professional when he is representing the foundation.

I've heard him speak before. He likes to talk about himself. A lot.

Embree is the BOMB! Can I be any more impressed with this guy and his love for the school and the football program???
