His rivals profile says he's going to HDWoodson, but these highlights say he went to Archbishop Carroll. I'll look around and see if I can find an article on it.

I would love to see CU become the preferred destination for the top athletes in DC.
 
Nothing like having a violent hitting safety patroling the field, makes a difference. Anything close to Atwater type hitting, dude was a killer, Im good with.
 
I'm pretty sure he transferred to HDWoodson. I just cant find any links that are saying it. This is the best I can find so far.
I wonder why he is transferring from Carroll to HD Woodson to gain expsoure. You would think staying in the WCAC and playing against Good Counsel, and DM would give him tons of exposure.

Darwyn Kelly is a aggresive, violent hard hitting free safety that can also play cornerback, big kid still growing could easily pack on another 15-25 lbs of muscle. Runs 4.43 in 40 he is track kid who runs the 200 and 400, the whole senior class at Archbishop Carroll transfered out to graduate early and gain exposure for lack of their head coach getting them recruited. Transfering to HD Woodson after the school year is over. If you are so lucky to get Darwyn you will have a good one. He footwork is incredible, and tracks football well in air, he will probaly play on Sundays. Remember his name....

Looks like he is turning heads at 7 on 7 camps...

A few more Maryland-area skill prospects shined as well, including... H.D. Woodson's Darwyn Kelly (6-3, 195) covered a lot of ground from the safety spot.

Probably the most physical player at the 7-on-7 tournament, Kelly displayed awesome aggressiveness, physicality and toughness. From his safety position, the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Kelly breaks well on the ball, frequently breaking up or tipping the pass or arriving at the same time as the ball, creating a violent collision

And on that note, at some point in the last day or 2 Greg Brown has offered this aggressive, violent and hard hitting safety. Profile updated.

He is starting to get a lot of interest, up to five offers now. Expect us to be right in the mix here.
 
Had several schools at practices recently and picked up more offers. Expect this recruitment to go the distance.
 
Added his first SEC offer from Georgia (rivals). We don't appear to be in it right now... but by golly we will at the end!
