We've been recruiting Specht for a while now and have stepped up with an offer this week.

Excellent football program and league at Clovis West. This is the type of athlete we can develop into a great OL and we've got a good shot regardless of other offers that might be coming soon.

"Run blocking is probably my best skill," Specht said. "I am big, but I have always been pretty lean. I have a solid frame, I am not sloppy. I can move my feet. I run the 40-yard dash in about 5.0 or 4.9-seconds and I can do the pro-agility in 4.6 or 4.7-seconds, so I can move well side-to-side and I can move well frontwards and backwards. I like being aggressive on the field. I don't like being soft."

Loved his #s. Screamed "high ceiling" to me with that athleticism, even if will probably need a few years to contribute.

I will make sure I have my CU gear on while I am out there next week, just in case. Love the size and athleticism.

I'm asking this because I honestly want to know, not to be a jerk, but with measurables like that, why does this kid have one offer and isn't even rated? It doesn't sound like academics are an issue.

There are lots and lots of big kids with good measureables. It scares me that he has no other offers. But, that just me....

Only thing I can think of is maybe he hasnt been to many camps or whatever and thus hasnt been evaluated much.

The Offer list of a player doesn't guarantee that the player is going to be a great College player, Some players slip through the cracks or are late bloomers. The recruiting sites information depend on the information given by the athlete and are based on Junior numbers. Some players may become starters in their senior year . I like 6'6" 295. The strength coach can work with that. Any video of chad in action?
