If I'm reading you right, I agree. Carruth didn't screw up until after his time in Boulder.

Yes. He was one of my favorite players as a kid and one of the nicest guys I got autographs from on the field after games. I remember other posters on here who knew him in college mention nothing but good things about him.

Yes, obviously he ****ed up big time years later, but he's still a Buff. I like to believe what he did was not who he really is and he can turn his life around after his release.

I saw him every week in 1994 and he did talk alot about guns and gangs. But ya, he was nice.
