Haven't seen offers on any of these guys yet, but we're out there looking.

Josh Gershon:

Colorado watched 2014 Taft SF Shaqquan Aaron today

Gershon again:

At Compton HS watching 2012 SF Victor Robbins and 2014 SG Iziahiah Sweeney. 2014 SG Isaiah Bailey not going today. Colorado is in the gym.

Rivals has Aaron as a 4* and the #15 recruit in the nation. Bailey is a 4*, but with no ranking overall and Sweeney is unranked as of right now.

Hoopniks at the Rocky Mountain Fall Showcase:

6'5 WF Treyvon Andres from Thomas Jefferson (CO) showing solid wing game in sophomore game. Dominique Collier also playing well.

I've updated Collier's profile to reflect this, but Andres isn't in Scout or Rivals' database yet, so no page for him. He is a local kid to keep an eye on though.

Interesting that he ranks Perkins ahead of Collier.

Very. I've heard people say that Perkins is at Collier's level, but not sure I've seen anyone say better. Either way, I hope we get 2-3 years to watch them play together in person at the Keg. Those two would be HUGE gets.

They'd compliment each other very well too. Two really good ballhandlers, but Perkins definitely has the size, strength, and shot to be a better scorer.

I hate to say this, because I'm not a fan of comparisons and don't mean to overhype Perkins, but ever since seeing The Show, I've thought Perkins looked a lot like Smooth. That's not to say that Perkins is on the same level as a recruit, or even has the same ceiling, but Perkins' build and game are just so reminiscent of him.

I know it seems like we say this every year, but CU is in on some SICK talent for this class. We're looking at 2-3 scholarships depending on when Dre goes pro and what we do with his scholarship. I have to think that our #1 targets right now are Collier and Perkins. Those two are unbelievable players and will be a huge message to the nation that we're in the big time for recruits.

FYI for everyone, since I know it gets confusing with basketball numbers with the early and regular signing periods.

This would be the Dre, Adams & Shane class.

If Dre leaves early, this is a 2-player class.

However, Spencer is highly-rated by NBA guys so he could be leaving early to make this a 3-person class.

Most NBA talents do not stay in college through their senior seasons. Most times, that's seen as a negative by NBA front offices (I disagree, but it is what it is).

Honestly, I'm mentally preparing myself for not getting 4 years from the Mayor.

I hate nik for reminding me that was a possibility. I had the thought midway through last year, and then ruthlessly suppressed it.

On the plus side, having 3 guys who all are good enough to declare early for the NBA draft is a hell of a selling point for recruits.

I've seen Andres play since he was at Hamilton Jr High. He's an excellent ballhandler, because his older brother Eric was 6'5" when they were in Jr high, so he played center and Trevon was always the point. He shot up last year and now he's actually closer to 6'6" while Eric is about 6'7". Both are excellent players, and TJ should have a good season.
