31 catches for 554 yards and 6 TDs during his junior season. Really good athlete who projects as a WR, but DB is not out of the question.

He does not play the best competition, but still very good production

AZ had a nice write-up on Larue:

Coming up, LaRue is planning on visiting junior days at Arizona State, Colorado and Washington. "I am planning on going to ASU's on March 10th. Then I am going to Washington's on April 28th. Then with Colorado, I'd like to get out there and check out the campus for their junior day. So I am going to try to make that. I am going to try to make some more junior days as they come up, so we'll see."

The nationally-ranked athlete is being recruited to Colorado by Coaches Mike Tuiasosopo and Eric Bieniemy. "Coach Tuiasosopo is my main recruiter and then I have also spoken with Coach Bieniemy."

We have some good interest, but since recruits have to pay for a visit to our JR day, we usually get a lot less that actually are able to make it.

Huh? Do we charge them to come, or do you mean they have to pay to fly out rather than drive somewhere in LA?

I believe on unofficial visits we can give them free tickets to a game, but that is about it. The entire trip is on their dime. You should check out stoudt's recruitapedia to make sure I'm right tho.

If this is who I think it is I saw him play last year. He has some great ball skills and some hops. He was the go to receiver and had two huge touchdowns at the playoff game I went to. At the time he looked a little undersized but his playing ability was more than making up for it. He was pretty quick and he was finding holes and getting open. He was very good on deep routes which lead to his two touchdowns and big 3rd down I believe.

I'm always happy to see players form my alma mater. Any word if we are on his radar? I noticed Tui was his recruiter him.

BIggins said SC offered him purely as a WR, for what that's worth. And SC is taking 18 this year, 3 will be counted towards last year.

Wait. WHAT? Can they do that? Tell a kid "oh, by the way, you've already lost your redshirt"?

It would be early enrollees. I have no idea how USC could have possibly undersigned by 3 for the 2012 class.

Yeah they are early enrollees. They signed 30 last year with 8 early making it 22 for that class leaving 3 early for this one.
