Former Kansas University starting quarterback Jordan Webb is headed from the Big 12 to the Pac-12.
Webb confirmed to the Journal-World on Friday various recent reports that stated he will be transferring to Colorado. Once admitted to the school — something Webb expects to happen as early as Monday — his relocation will be official.

Impressive that he is able to keep the ****** ipod/iphone earbuds in while throwing a football.

Looking forward to some good Quarterback competitions this fall. Webb, Wood, Hirschman and Dillon. This should be fun..

What do you think he was listening to......"Carry on Wayward Son" seems ironically appropriate.

you're old. half the people on this board don't know what the **** you are talking about...

...it is disturbing that i do...

Ha....yes. At least DBT has me beat by a couple of decades. Since you know the (horrible) song, don't you agree with my statement?

I'm sure he'll have the chance to lay his weary head to rest... at some point. not anytime soon, but eventually.

that would be "the point of no return." Don't you cry no more.

Whew....FC, at least DBT and I are not the only old ****s hanging around here!

for classic rock references.

Hey, I know that song.

So, is this kid going to compete for the starting job? I would believe that it will be tough to come in here in July and be able to learn the system well enough to win the starting job. If he can, I'm afraid that doesn't say much for the guys who have been around for a while.

Webb, who has two years of eligibility remaining, played in all 12 games for the Jayhawks in 2011, completing 179 of his 281 pass attempts for 1,884 yards, with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Anyone catch that part? I thought he had just one year but if he has two years, I think the QB job is his.

In the Denver Post article, Webb said leadership is his strong point. Is it just me or does it appear that we haven't really had a leader at QB since Joel Klatt back in 2005?

PRich brought up the two "transfer" QB's that will compete for the starting job. But, just imagine if we didn't have neither and had to go with Hirsch or Dillon. Or season prospects would look that much worse
