I was thinking suppose Utah fails to beat USC and loses to CU in Boulder, what will that do to their momentum given Utah has 18 starters coming back this season? My guess is that the momentum will be gone and Utah doesn't sniff double digit win seasons for awhile because after this season, they get Oregon and Stanford on the schedule while Cal and WSU come off. Oregon State will have Manion in as a third year starter if he keeps the job this season. Stanford will have moved past Luck plus Oregon could be loaded in '13. Given that Utah went 4-5 with a very favorable schedule, I have to believe that the pressure is on the Utes to win this season or they lose a lot of momentum from the Pac-12 move.

But what other Pac-12 school could face a season that could have a lot of ramifications for the next several seasons?

Personally it has to be CU. We just bought a house, we're getting married, and family planning. I can't keep justifying season ticket purchases for this ****** brand of football. I don't know if I'll ever be able to refuse to buy season tickets but it is hard.

I know, i know Bad fan.

Non personally- CAL.

"Family planning" means someone else's baby?

Apart from USC and Cal, who always have to win, I´d assume Tedford and Sarkisian have to show something.

P12 is strange for this kind of question as 6 teams have coaches in either their first or second year and then there´s Utah, who only just joined. So you have to give those coaches some rope, then you have the 2 powerhouses that always have to win and you´re really only left with Sark, Tedford and Riley as possible answers.

I'd say Tedford/Cal has the most pressure to win this year. Going to be tough, too.
