And the rising has started. He just got his fourth star from Scout.

Sounding like Pitts is one of our top targets for the 2013 class. Adam has a nice update on him:

"I definitely like Colorado," Pitts said. "I've been talking to their coaches a lot lately. I'm looking to take a visit out there for sure. I know some people that have graduated from Colorado and will be going there next year. I've heard it's a beautiful place and I really like the coaching staff. Overall it seems like a great place."

it seems like Tad and the staff are excellent at identifying rising stars. Or maybe once they pick up that prestigious CU basketball offer it bumps them up in the rankings.

The polar opposite of CU football.

Cracked the Rivals Top 150 ranking, coming in at #141.

Scout tweeted out a story about how he has cut his list to 5. I'm not a subscriber, so I can't tell, but there are only five teams listed on his profile page -- Cal, Arizona, Washington, Georgetown and Virginia, so I'm not liking our odds.

Hard to find fault with Tad's scouting. Damn, though. Zona got a good one here.
